What is cementing material

Cementing material is an essential material in the petroleum exploration process, because the exploration process is 

complex and changeable, so the help of cementing material is needed, below, we will understand the characteristics 

of cementing material.

Cementing material is mainly oil-cement mixture, oil well cement in the preparation process to ensure that the flow

 in the whole process can not be interrupted, to ensure good flow,and can meet the temperature and pressure in the 

well, the performance stability is strong. The cementing material   is required to be able to solidify at the required

 time after being  replaced and to maintain its original minimum volume after solidifying.

The density of the cementing material can be adjusted by adding additional reagents to maintain strength and fluidity

 and time equivalent to the original reagent. Solidified cementhas a strong development and will also play a certain 

plasticity. In the process of drilling, drilling fluid will first enter   the bottom of the well and eventually form a layer

 of granular   solidified material, which is called mud cake. Mud cake is indispensable for drilling and can stabilize

 the protective layer of the well wall. The quality of cement slurry is not only related   to the success of cementing 

but also determines the effectiveness of the entire environment.
