Shaanxi mud materials mainly include the following:

1. Bentonite: Bentonite is a natural mineral with good water absorption, expansion and suspension stability, and is one of the 

main raw materials for preparing mud. In Shaanxi Province, bentonite is widely used in mud preparation because of its abundant 

resources and excellent quality.

2. Soda ash: Soda ash is an alkaline substance that can adjust the pH of the mud and inhibit the corrosion of the acid in the mud 

to the drilling tool. At the same time, soda ash can also increase the viscosity and shear force of the mud, and improve the suspension

 capacity of the mud.

3. Cellulose: Cellulose is a natural polymer compound that can increase the viscosity and consistency of the mud, improve the suspension

 stability and rheological resistance of the mud.

 Adding an appropriate amount of cellulose into the mud can effectively prevent the settlement and consolidation of drilling cuttings.

4. Polyacrylamide: Polyacrylamide is a synthetic polymer compound with excellent water absorption and thickening properties. Adding 

polyacrylamide to the mud can significantly improve  the viscosity and shear force of the mud, and enhance the suspension ability 

and anti-erosion ability of the mud.
