Polyacrylamide for water treatment is divided into anionic, cationic and non-ionic types. Anionic polyacrylamide has good water solubility,
is almost insoluble in organic solution, has the characteristics of high polymer electrolyte in neutral and alkaline medium, is sensitive to
salt electrolyte, and can cross link with high price metal ions to form insoluble gel. Cationic polyacrylamide is positive in acidic or alkaline
medium, so it can effectively flocculate and precipitate sewage suspended particles with negative charge. It has the functions of
decolorization, adsorption, turbidity removal adhesion, sludge dehydration and so on. Non-ionic polyacrylamide it can accelerate the
settlement of particles in the suspension, has a very obvious acceleration of solution clarification, promote filtration and other effects.
It is mainly used for flocculation, sedimentation and clarification of various industrial wastewater. Such as papermaking and pulp wastewater
treatment, mineral processing and metal smelting process wastewater treatment, steel plant and stone processing plant wastewater treatment.
